A performance mode selection utility for Asus TUF Gaming Series of Laptops Mar 30. Verifed only Windows Defender is running, and no other AV's. Adjusting system performance is only the start of my tuning process. Uninstalled anything that seems remotely 'Performance Tuning'.

Thanks in advance For the record, I am using the Cryorig R1 Ultimate cooler. Confirmed Firmware is up to date for everything. On our example motherboard, we can use the ASUS Ai Tweaker utility to. Is my overclock considered successful or not? I also heard that the latest versions of prim95 can be dangerous as they stress the CPU too much they can cause damage. Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) allows users to easily overclock XPG memory by. However when I tried 4.6 or 4.7 at different voltages (ranging from 1.370 to 1.395) in prime95, Core #1 failed the blend test quite soon (voltage was also pushed to 1.424) and gave me a FATAL ERROR but the other 3 cores kept passing the tests with no problem, also prim95 didn't crash, no Blue Screens again and max temp observed was 82C. So as the title says I have the i5-6600K and an Asus Z170-A, I started the overclock at 4.4GHz and it was stable and all with good temps so I decided to push it harder, after running several tests and changing the settings, I have reached a final of 4.7GHz I tested the CPU with AIDA64 extreme and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility for quite a while and I have had no Blue Screens or any sort of crashes, temps are also at around 62-69C on maximum load.
